  • The Education Foundation of Morris Plains is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit volunteer organization that raises funds for innovation in education for all students in the Morris Plains School District. We have provided more than $100,000 to fund worthy projects in all grades that were outside the district's regular budget.

  • The Education Foundation of Morris Plains (EFMP) raises funds through applying for outside grants and by hosting unique, community-building fundraisers. These have included our signature Strides for Education 5K Walk/Run; Harlem Wizards vs. Morris Plains Teachers and staff basketball games; Beer & Bites craft beer and food tasting; A Toast to Excellence wine-tasting; Marvelous Homes of Morris Plains house tour; and more.

  • The EFMP can use as much or little of your time and talent as you can spare! We are looking for enthusiasm and expertise in event planning, attracting sponsors, marketing, social media, grant writing and more. The Education Foundation of Morris Plains "funds the way forward" by supporting educational innovation in the Morris Plains School District. With your help, we enrich the possibilities for students, the community and the changing world our students will inherit.

  • With your generous support, The Education Foundation has funded numerous projects for the Morris Plains School District. Our impact includes essential equipment like 3D printers, sensory room tools, the Mountain Way School’s Outdoor Classroom, and the Borough School’s Digital Media Center (BTV). We also support diverse enrichment programs, including the "Visiting the Stars" traveling planetarium, Dance Residency, and the TR$PS Entrepreneurship program.
